IU lands commitment from forward recruit

CHRIS GOFF | The Journal Gazette

Jake Forrester, a power forward at Westtown School in West Chester, Pennsylvania, announced Monday that he has committed to Indiana, becoming the fourth member of the Hoosiers' 2018 recruiting class.

Rated either a three- or four-star prospect by the major recruiting services, the 6-foot-8, 200-pound Forrester is ESPNU's No. 3 player in Pennsylvania in his class.

"First off, I want to thank God always," Forrester wrote in a message posted to his Twitter account. "To my parents, I want you to know that I love you and appreciate the support that you have given me throughout this whole entire process. I want to thank (IU) coach (Archie) Miller for offering me a scholarship to Indiana University. I'm proud to say that I will be a Hoosier!"
