The Journal Gazette
A non-specific bomb threat at DeKalb High School was investigated overnight.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department received many calls about a bomb threat in different locations in the county, a statement from DeKalb County Central United School District said.
Officers and police dogs searched the school and found the threat was not credible.
"Please know we take the safety of our students and staff very seriously and commend the work performed by our law enforcement agencies, " Superintendent Steven Teders said.
School is in session today after a two-hour weather delay.
