Police have arrested a man for the 2017 murder of a popular assistant high school football coach.
Henry E. Underwood was arrested Thursday. He is facing charges of murder, felony murder and attempted robbery, Allen County Prosecutor Karen Richards said.
She said the charges also will include a firearms enhancement.
The arrest comes after Jaevin Bowie, 21, pleaded guilty to assisting a criminal and attempted theft for his role in the death of Terrance Miles, 36. Court documents say the two men were together May 19, 2017, when Miles was killed.
Bowie blamed the shooting on Underwood.
Police named Underwood a suspect shortly after the killing, though he was never charged in the case.
Richards said she could not comment further.
