73-year-old Ohio man charged in grandson's slaying

A 73-year-old Oakwood, Ohio, man is in jail today, charged in the shooting death of his grandson Thursday night, according to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office.

Police said they were dispatched to the family's home at 9:38 p.m. Officers said they found Evan Andrew Holcombe, 19, dead from a gun blast to his chest.

William R. Miller II is charged with a felony count of murder. He will be arraigned in Paulding County Court at 9 a.m. Monday.

The homicide investigation is ongoing.
