The Allen County coroner's office today said it has completed an autopsy of a 5-year-old boy found at an east central Fort Wayne home earlier this month.

Benjamyn Otto McKinney Frederick of Fort Wayne is the 10th homicide in Allen County this year. The cause of death is anoxic encephalopathy due to neck compression and multiple blunt force injuries, according to a news release.

On March 8, police were called about 12:30 p.m. to 1218 Gay St. and the child was taken from the home.

An investigation into the death is ongoing.
