The following was released on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 by IPFW:

FORT WAYNE, Ind.-Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is proud to announce the 2017 class of IPFW Top 50 students. These individuals are not only highly engaged on the IPFW campus in their academics and co-curricular activities, they also make significant impacts in their own communities.

"We are very excited to have our latest group of Top 50 selected. They are truly amazing students," said Victoria Sargeant, assistant director of alumni relations and co-chair of the Top 50 committee. "They are not only intelligent, but they are motivated, caring, and humble individuals who have made IPFW a better place. I am excited to see what this new group will do for our community."

The Top 50 students have an average GPA of 3.7, and more than half receive scholarship funding. These students will be recognized at a dinner on Saturday, April 22, at 6 p.m. in the Walb Union International Ballroom. A limited number of recognition dinner tickets are available for purchase through the Top 50 website, and are $30 each.
