Day of Caring makes clear difference

The annual event puts volunteers from United Way partners to work on community service projects across the county. On Wednesday and today, Lincoln Financial ­Foundation employees are working on a variety of projects, ­including cleaning, painting, landscaping, cutting back overgrown brush, pulling out old bushes, ­mulching picnic areas and repairing picnic benches. They are also volunteering at Lawton Park and other locations.
