Giving back

• The Rotary Club of Fort Wayne and Home Nursing Services installed a Little Free Library at 528 W. Washington Blvd. The Rotary Club also installed a free library with the Anthis Career Center Construction Trades at 230 E. Douglas St.

• Weigand Construction employees conducted a work day at Dare to Dream Youth Ranch, which included clearing brush, painting and general cleanup tasks.

• New Haven Food Bank received money from the Super Wash car wash annual fundraiser. The fundraiser has collected $45,061 so far from across the country for local food banks.

Reunion

The State Schoolers annual reunion will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 20 at Golden Corral, 4747 Lima Road. Price of buffet lunch is not included. For information, call 484-4762 or 422-9324.

Arts grants

The Indiana Arts Commission awarded the following grants to local arts groups: Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra, $36,445; The Honeywell Foundation in Wabash, $36,445; and Fort Wayne Museum of Art, $18,715.

Board named

• Leslie Koehlinger of Fort Wayne has been named to the Recovery Health Services board.

• The Junior League of Fort Wayne announced its board of directors: Michelle ­Kearns, president; Cheryl Felger; Joelle Grigsby; Nicole Penar; Christine Marcuccilli; and Emily Bondus.
