Yoder man linked to child molesting

A Yoder man was charged Wednesday with three counts of child molesting, accused of performing various sex acts with a child during a one-year span.

Robert L. Alessi III, 31, denied all the allegations against him, which the girl said started in December 2012 and continued for a year, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The girl, whose age was not disclosed but who was younger than 14 at the time, said Alessi had been “raping her since she was 5 years old,” the report said.

The girl told police there were several times that Alessi had her perform sex acts with him at different locations, including Yoder.

Alessi was not in custody Wednesday.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
