So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish

The title to the fourth book in “The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy” just always feels right when I’m penning a final item from a place I have worked.

Today is my final day at The Journal Gazette and will no longer be covering Notre Dame, and well, anything for the newspaper.

It is tough to go, but also a good thing for me personally as I will move back home, get married and start the next part of my life.

I want to thank everyone who has come to “Irish Insights” and The Journal Gazette’s website for information about Notre Dame athletics over the last five years that I have been on the beat. I hope you enjoyed my coverage, and I’m sure the next writer who steps in on the beat will do a great job.

It has been a good experience and allowed me to grow as a reporter and writer.
