The Indiana men’s basketball team is headed north for its summer vacation.
The Hoosiers will spend Aug. 7-13 in Montreal, where they will play five games in six days against some of the top Canadian programs as a prelude to the 2014-15 season. The schedule tips off with an Aug. 8 date at Concordia University and will include games against Ottawa University (at McGill University, Aug. 10), Carleton University (at McGill, Aug. 11), at McGill (Aug. 12) and at Montreal-Quebec (Aug. 13).
“Those games will be important because we play some really good teams and at the time we will get to practice,” Indiana coach Tom Crean said in a release.
Among Indiana’s opponents, Carleton has won 10 of the last 12 CIS titles, beat Wisconsin last year and took Syracuse to overtime. Ottawa defeated TCU in an exhibition last summer.
