Hoosiers to host Pittsburgh in ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Indiana is scheduled to play Pittsburgh on Dec. 2 at Assembly Hall in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, the conferences announced Thursday in conjunction with ESPN, which televises the games.

The Hoosiers had played on the road in four of the past six seasons in the event, which pairs teams from two of the nation's major leagues. It's entering its 16th season.

Pittsburgh hasn't played in Bloomington since 1939. Indiana is 4-4 all-time against the Panthers. The Hoosiers won the last meeting 74-64 at Madison Square Garden in the 2009 Jimmy V Classic.

The game time will be announced at a later date.
