Voter registration cutoff nears for primary

Allen County residents wanting to cast a vote in the May 6 primary election have until 4:30 p.m. April 7 to register or submit address changes.

They can register in person at the Allen County Voter Registration office weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1 W. Superior St., Suite 111. Those with a current and valid Indiana driver’s license or ID card can register online at www.indianavoters.com until midnight April 7.

Registered voters must have resided at their current address at least 30 days before the election, be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 on or before Nov. 4, and cannot be currently imprisoned for the conviction of a crime.
