Let's get going...

Whether it's in a paper or a blog, I've always thought journalism was meant to be shared, enjoyed and practiced as a community exercise.

So, welcome, to those who have made The Journal Gazette their home for sports news for many years now as well as those checking out its coverage for the first time.

I'm Chris, and I'll be sharing the journey – wherever the Hoosiers, Boilermakers or TinCaps take us – with all of you. I'm new, but I'll jump right in to what should be an exciting few months as two seasons near the finish line and another begins.

Sean Morrison did a great job with these blogs – Eyeing IU, Boiling Point and Full Count – and we will pick up where he left off to bring the insights you've come to expect.

If you have any questions about me, these blogs, the Hoosiers, TinCaps or Boilermakers, or just want to say hello, feel free to email
