Special events

A concert in memory of Bishop John M. D’Arcy will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 S. Calhoun St. The Immaculate Conception Cathedral Choir will perform.

Calvary United Methodist Church, 6301 Winchester Road, will have its annual Spud Sunday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 9. The meal, which includes a baked potato with toppings, salad, dessert and drink, is $7 adults, $3 children ages 3 to 10 and free for children 2 and younger. Proceeds benefit Calvary Missions and In As Much Ministries. Bring a canned food item and take home an extra dessert.

Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 W. California Road, will have its annual all-you-can-eat fish fry and bake sale from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 8 (carry-out dinners available 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.); $9 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 12 and free for children 4 and younger.

Special music

Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St. in North Manchester, will host the Whitko Gospel Choir at 8:30, 9:45 and 11 a.m. Sunday. A freewill offering will be taken.

•The Christian Performing Artist’s Fellowship will have its annual Valentine’s concert at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at Rodeheaver Auditorium in Winona Lake. The event is free and doors open at 7 p.m.
