Indiana women's teams in Top 25

The women's college basketball teams in Indiana were well represented in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Purdue slipped from No. 17 to No. 21 after the Boilermakers (10-3) fell 89-78 on the road to Ohio State in their Big Ten opener on Thursday.

Notre Dame remained No. 2 behind Connecticut after the Irish improved to 13-0 with a 71-75 home victory over Clemson on Sunday in the team's Atlantic Coast Conference opener.

Indiana jumped into the Top 25 after improving to 14-0 with an 86-84 home win over Iowa to start conference play. The Hoosiers are in the Top 25 poll for the first time in 21 years.

Purdue and IU were scheduled to play Monday night in West Lafayette, but the game was postponed Saturday because of inclement weather. A makeup date has not been announced.
