Hoosiers round out nonconference play

BLOOMINGTON – Indiana can't hide anymore.

After their second sloppy win in three days against a mediocre opponent, the Hoosiers have no cupcakes left to feast on. The lights are about to get a lot brighter than they were Sunday, in a 90-66 win over Kennesaw State at Assembly Hall.

More questions than answers came from a nonconference slate that saw the Hoosiers (10-3) beat who they should have beaten and lose to then-No. 19 Connecticut, then-No. 4 Syracuse and Notre Dame.

IU tied its season-high in turnovers with 20 – a season-high the Hoosiers set Friday against Nicholls State. They shot 62.7 percent from the field, including an 8 for 12 performance from the field from sophomore guard Yogi Ferrell, who had 25 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Freshman forward Luke Fischer had the best game of his career, with 10 points, two rebounds and three blocks.
