Sexual misconduct draws 20-year term

A 25-year-old man who admitted to sexually abusing two underage girls was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison in two separate cases.

Fredy Ramirez of the 4800 block of Northcrest Drive, pleaded guilty in November to two felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, as well as a misdemeanor charge of battery.

Allen Superior Judge Fran Gull sentenced him to a total of 10 years on each of the sexual misconduct charges, to be served one after another, as well as a year on the battery charge. The sentence on the battery charge will be served at the same time as one of the sexual misconduct sentences.
