News and notes

  • Purdue and Butler played a common opponent during the Old Spice Classic in Orlando, Fla. Both teams faced then-No. 5 Oklahoma State. The Bulldogs lost by two to the Cowboys, while the Boilermakers nearly overcame a 52-29 halftime deficit, but lost 97-87.
