Burglars damage lake homes

More than half a dozen northeast Indiana lake homes were struck by burglars over the weekend.

The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department was contacted on Sunday about a burglary on the southeast end of Royer Lake.

When officers arrived, they learned that about seven homes had been hit over the weekend, according to a statement issued Tuesday by the department.

It said several of the homes were damaged.
