College basketball preview: IU vs. Oakland

BLOOMINGTON – Indiana will try to remain perfect at home and has a good chance to do so as an 18-point favorite over Oakland today. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Assembly Hall. Here's a look ahead at the matchup between the Hoosiers (7-2) and the Golden Grizzlies (2-7).

  • Freshman forward Devin Davis is doubtful for today's game after reinjuring his ankle against North Florida. The 6-foot-6 Indianapolis product is averaging 3.4 points and 4.4 rebounds for IU.
  • Graduate transfer Evan Gordon and sophomore forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea are coming off career days. Gordon scored a season-high 15 against the Ospreys, which was also the most he's scored in an IU uniform, while Mosquera-Perea scored eight points.
  • The Hoosiers had a season-high 17 assists and a season-low 11 turnovers in their last game.
