Jennifer Lopez is being honored by the March of Dimes.

Lopez, the 44-year-old mother of 5-year-old twins, Maximilian and Emme, will receive the Grace Kelly Award at the eighth annual March of Dimes luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Friday. She’s being recognized as a celebrity parent role model supporting women giving birth to healthy babies after full-term pregnancies.

ACM hosts to return

Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are returning as hosts of next year’s Academy of Country Music Awards.

The country music stars teamed up last year and things went so well they’re coming back for the April 6 awards at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The academy also announced Monday that Florida Georgia Line will host its Fan Jam, the parallel event that runs concurrently with the awards.

The academy also announced that it will tape its annual television special the day after the awards, to air later in the spring. No word yet on who will perform.

Matching donations

The nonprofit group headed by Roger Ebert’s wife will match up to $25,000 in donations toward a bronze sculpture honoring the late film critic.

The life-sized sculpture will be installed outside the Virginia Theatre in Champaign where the annual film festival called Ebertfest takes place. Ebert grew up in neighboring Urbana and attended the University of Illinois. He died in April at age 70 after a long battle with cancer.

The statute will depict Ebert sitting in a theater seat making his iconic “thumbs up” gesture. The project’s budget is about $122,500, according to a Sunday story by the (Champaign) News-Gazette.
