Indictment alleges gun dealing

A 50-year-old Auburn man is under a federal indictment accusing him of illegal firearms dealing.

The five-count indictment handed down this week accuses Jacob Miller of selling firearms to a known felon on four different occasions, as well as dealing in firearms without a license from March to November.

The guns he sold illegally included a SKS semiautomatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine, five semiautomatic handguns and a number of boxes of ammunition in various calibers, according to court documents.

The investigation into Miller was conducted by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
