Morrison moves up SAC list

Quarterback David Morrison came along way in two years for the Concordia football team.

The Ball State recruit threw for 5,251 yards in his only two seasons of varsity football, good enough for third place all-time in the SAC behind two Bishop Luers stars -- James Knapke (5,974) and Kyle Lindsay (5,271).

Morrison threw for 301 yards in a 25-21 loss to West Lafayette in a Class 3A regional Friday.

He finished with 3,412 yards this season with 29 touchdowns and ran for 10 scores.
