Walgreens Robbery 11-6-2013

The Fort Wayne Police Department is requesting the media‚??s assistance in airing this surveillance video clip in hopes of identifying those responsible. On Wednesday November 06, 2013 at 1:40am, 2 masked men entered the Walgreens store at 10412 Coldwater armed with handguns. The store employees were ‚??man handled‚?Ě and pushed to the floor before being forced to open the cash drawer. Suspects took the entire drawer and fled. It appears that as the suspects ran in, the hood of one of the men came off his head and a surveillance camera near the door captured a fairly good image of suspect #2 as they fled. Submitted by the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Video of holdup may ID gunmen

With hopes of generating tips from the public, Fort Wayne police have released surveillance video of a robbery at a north-side drugstore.

Shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday, two masked men armed with handguns entered the Walgreens at Coldwater and East Dupont roads, police said.

One of the men approached a clerk working in the Christmas aisle, threatened to shoot her and threw her to the floor. A second clerk was ordered to the floor and later forced to open a cash drawer, police said.

The video released Thursday shows the robbers rushing out the door with the cash drawer. Anyone who can identify them is asked to call the Fort Wayne Police Department at 427-1222.
