Brown counters lawsuit

Chris Brown has countersued a man who has accused the R&B star’s entourage of attacking him outside a recording studio this year.

The singer filed an assault and battery lawsuit Wednesday against Sha’keir Duarte, who claimed in an earlier suit that he was injured when a fight erupted between Brown and Frank Ocean’s entourages in January.

Brown’s countersuit accuses Duarte of instigating the fight.

Heroes on tap

Netflix is doubling down on original content, saying it will buy four new live-action TV series from Disney’s Marvel.

The first series, due in 2015, will focus on the character Daredevil, followed by Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.

The four series of 13 episodes each will culminate in a miniseries called “The Defenders.”
