Waving goodbye?

Nick Saban: Getting restless again?

Well, this will surely send a few tremors through Tuscaloosa, Ala., I'm guessing.

This is Nick Saban up to his old mendacious ways, and if anyone who bleeds the appropriate color for the Crimson Tide is surprised, shame on him or her. Like you didn't know this was the guy's M.O.?

This is the same man, remember, who flatly denied he was leaving the Dolphins for Alabama, and then left the Dolphins for Alabama. Now he says he's "too old" to go anywhere else but Alabama -- and his agent says, weeeellll, we might consider Texas, but only Texas.

Gotta come as a shock to those who thought Saban was saying he wouldn't consider anywhere. Anywhere clearly doesn't include Texas, which, sorry, 'Bama, is a better job simply because of the money around the program, the recruiting base, and the money around the program. And did we mention the money around the program?

So take a lesson, Tide Riders: When Nick Saban tells you the sky is blue and it ain't gonna rain, check first. And then grab your umbrella.
