The newest Ant is ...

With their first pick in the D-League draft -- the 13th pick in the second round -- the Mad Ants took Alfred Aboya, who had played at UCLA.

He is a 6-foot-9 forward.

He has a lot of international experience, having played with the Shiga Lakestars in Japan last season.

He has also played in France, Turkey, and Venezuela.

Born in Cameroon, he is 28 and played at UCLA from 2005 to 2009.

"He's a little bit older," said Ryan Blake, a draft analyst for NBA teams. "He's a big man who is versatile. Fort Wayne is one of my favorite teams and he's a guy with a lot of international experience. He played in Japan last year. He does a lot of the little things. He's 6-9, 240 pounds. Fort Wayne gets a good player with a lot of experience."
