Vera Bradley Foundation completes breast-cancer pledge

The Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer said today it had completed its current $10 million pledge to research, bringing its total contribution to $20 million since 1998.

The foundation presented a $2.35 million check for research on Saturday night at its "Viva la Pink -- A Gathering of Girlfriends" event at the Vera Bradley Design Center in southwest Allen County.
