Nelson penning memoir

At age 80, Willie Nelson is ready to say it all.

Little, Brown and Company announced Wednesday that the country music superstar has a book deal with the publisher. Although Nelson is the author of several books, Little, Brown promises that this one will be an unvarnished story about the artist.

The memoir is untitled. It is scheduled to be published in 2015.

Wonder albums due

Stevie Wonder plans to release two albums next year, including some newly written songs, and he’s working on a third.

The 63-year-old performer said in an interview Tuesday that his first albums in eight years would be “When the World Began” and “Ten Billion Hearts.”

Wonder, who filed for divorce last year, said the new music was inspired by “family, change, growth, heartbreaks.”

Barker returning

CBS says “The Price is Right” is planning a milestone birthday celebration for former host Bob Barker.

Barker will celebrate his 90th birthday with an appearance on the game show in December, the network said Tuesday. He retired as host in 2007 after 35 years with “The Price is Right.”

The show also will pay tribute to Barker’s longtime animal activism by featuring pet adoptions during the week of Dec. 9 to 13.

Barker will be on “The Price is Right” on his birthday, Dec. 12, and will present a special showcase to mark the occasion, CBS said.

Jonases split

The Jonas Brothers are disbanding.

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas announced Tuesday they’re ending their highly successful run. The news comes after the brothers abruptly canceled their tour over creative differences this month.

The brothers told People magazine the breakup was unanimous and came after Nick Jonas told his brothers in a meeting earlier this month that he felt “trapped.”
