Looking toward D-League draft

On Nov. 1, the D-League will hold its draft and the Mad Ants are without a first-round pick.

"We need to get us a good player with that second-round pick," said Conner Henry, in his first season as the Mad Ants' coach.

"Time will tell if we do."

So what happened to the Mad Ants' first-round pick? It went to Canton last season, along with JaJuan Johnson, for Luke Harangody.

Canton has the No. 13 pick from the Mad Ants, along with the 14th pick, in the 17-team draft.

The D-League draft has eight rounds. Teams are required to make picks in the first six rounds, while rounds seven and eight are optional.

Fans will be able to follow the draft at nba.com/dleague.
