New Haven raid nets meth arrest

The discovery of two one-pot meth labs in the garage of a New Haven home has led to felony charges against a 40-year-old man, according to court papers.

Joseph Biggs was charged Thursday with dealing methamphetamine, neglect of a dependent, possession of meth precursors and maintaining a common nuisance.

On Oct. 10, Allen County police went to Biggs’ home, 107 Heatherwood Lane, to arrest him on outstanding warrants, and in the garage, officers found the two one-pot labs and meth ingredients, court papers stated.

Biggs was arrested, and three children, ages 7, 4 and 1, living in the house were placed in the care of Indiana Child Protective Services, court papers said.

Biggs was being held without bond Thursday at the Allen County Jail on a probation violation.
