Masked men rob video store

Two men in masks robbed a video store late Wednesday, getting away with cash and an employee’s car, Fort Wayne police said.

The two men, one armed with a handgun, ran into the Family Video at 3606 E. State Blvd., west of Coliseum Boulevard, and ordered an employee to hand over cash from the register, as well as his wallet and car keys, a report stated.

The robbers left with the cash and stole the employee’s car, the report said.

Police were called to the store about 11:50 p.m. One robber was described as 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and black jeans. The other was described at 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Both had on black masks and gloves, according to the report.
