Death of Angola man ruled homicide


A man died Saturday night in Angola after he was found lying in the road bleeding, police said.

About 9:30 p.m., police responded to a call about a fight at 408 N. Washington St., according to a statement issued by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department.

Wilbur Renshaw, 39, was found lying in the road bleeding.

Renshaw was transported to Cameron Hospital in Angola where he later died, police said.

Kenneth Fletcher, 41, is wanted for questioning and is considered armed and dangerous, police said.

The death has been ruled a homicide by the Steuben County Coroner's Office.
