Concordia, DeKalb and Carroll won their respective classes Saturday night during a marching band contest.

Sixteen bands competed in the Snider Mighty Panther Parade of Champions at Wayne High School.

Eastern was first in Class D, according to Woodlan was second, and Bluffton was third. Eastern won a caption award for music. Woodlan won caption awards for visual and general effect.

In Class C, Concordia was first, Norwell was second, Heritage was fifth, and Leo was sixth. Concordia won caption awards for music, visual and general effect.

In Class B, DeKalb was first, North Side was second, East Noble was third, and Bishop Dwenger was fifth. DeKalb was caption awards for music, visual and general effect.

In Class A, Carroll was first, and Northrop was second. Carroll won caption awards for music, visual and general effect. Host Snider played an exhibition.
