$200,000 grant to expand Ivy Tech hospitality room

A $200,000 foundation grant will enable Ivy Tech Northeast to expand its Hospitality Room, adding 630 square feet and 25 to 30 seats to the existing space, the college announced today.

The grant from the English, Bonter, Mitchell Foundation is designed to expand the space for the Hospitality Administration program's special cuisine dinners. the college said in a statement.

During the 2011 academic year, the program served 722 majors and provided more than 100 courses, the statement said.
