EVELYN BROWN Fort Wayne
JEERS to the Coliseum. Once again the Johnny Appleseed Festival is over and the crowds were huge. Isnt it interesting they raised their parking lot fee to $5 on Sept. 1? I work at one of the booths and dont get a break on the parking cost. So if I dont carpool, I end up paying $10 for the weekend. That is ridiculous.
MARY REECE Fort Wayne
CHEERS to the young couple sitting a few booths away who paid my lunch check at Biaggis on Sept. 15. I was totally surprised and overwhelmed by their generous act. Thank you both so much. God bless you and I will pass it on.
ROSIE GREINER Fort Wayne
CHEERS to all the wonderful people heading to the Johnny Appleseed Festival who rendered assistance to me Sept. 22 when I was injured in a bicycle accident. Your kindness in taking time to help me was very much appreciated. And thanks to the Fort Wayne Fire Department Station 10 and EMS responders for their professional top-quality aid.
JOHN THEISEN Fort Wayne
CHEERS to Eldon Claassen and his wife Jan who turned in my wallet – intact – to lost and found after I lost it at the Johnny Appleseed Festival on Sept. 22. They were so concerned they drove to my home to see whether I got it back. They are really classy people.
LARRY BOWERS Fort Wayne
JEERS to utility crews for not returning to clean up the ugly, dead mess along our Fort Wayne streets after spraying trees and shrubs under utility lines.
