INDIANAPOLIS – Gov. Mike Pence is hopping on a motorcycle to continue an annual ride through Indiana popularized by his predecessor.
Pence will start the 100-mile ride from the Statehouse on Friday morning. Former Gov. Mitch Daniels started the event nine years ago to promote motorcycle safety and raise money for military families.
Pence plans to stop in Rushville and Connersville before ending the ride at Whitewater Memorial State Park.
The motorcycle training and safety group ABATE of Indiana is helping to organize the ride.
