Former Decatur mayor dies

Harold B. Miller, mayor of Decatur from 1976 to 1988, died Wednesday, according to his obituary. He was 83.

He owned Miller's Meat Market from 1979 to 1993 and was president of the Decatur Little League.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. Sunday at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, with calling one hour before services, the obituary said. Visitation is 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to United Way of Adams County.
