One surviving apple from an apple tree I planted 10 years ago.

One apple! Yay!

I have finally harvested one apple from an apple tree that I planted 10 years ago.

The tree is a cutting taken from the last tree planted by Johnny Appleseed and budded to preserve this piece of history.

Early this summer I had several small apples, but during the course of the summer they all fell off. All, except for one. Obviously I am still going to be giving business to local orchards.

My apple tree is suppose to yield Rambo apples. I now have one apple to investigate with to see if this is true.
