Forwards King, McIlveen added to K's preseason roster

Forwards Tristan King and Paul McIlveen have been added to the Komets' preseason roster, the club announced today.

King, 22, of Elk River, Minn., split last season between Idaho and San Francisco in the ECHL, the Komets said in a statement. He has been assigned to Fort Wayne by the Dallas Stars.

McIlveen, 27, of Waterloo, Ontario, played only nine games for Utah in the ECHL last year because of an injury, but played there, in Greenville and in Cincinnati in 2011-12.

The Komets said they will begin camp with a roster of 29 players, including 17 forwards, eight defensemen and four goaltenders.
