•Because of a reporting error, a story that appeared on Page 1C Wednesday incorrectly described how donations for a Fort Wayne police officer injured in a crash will be spent. The money is for any costs he may incur as a result of the accident. Because the crash happened while he was on duty, the city will cover his health care costs, and he will receive his wages while he recovers.

•Because of an Associated Press error, Ellen Pompeo was misquoted on Page 8D Tuesday in a package of stories about the Emmys. The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress’ actual quote about diversity on the telecast was: “I mean, TV’s getting a little better, but I don’t know if you saw the Emmys last night, but that dance number was embarrassing. Did you see one black girl in that dance number? I mean, no Asians, no Hispanics, nothing. It was just like – it was so embarrassing.”
