Blackhawk Ministries, 7400 E. State Blvd., will host “The Crazy Hair Tour,” a Secret Keeper Girl event for moms and tween daughters, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Forest Park United Methodist Church, 2100 Kentucky Ave., will honor music director Phil Zimmerman for his 20 years of service as the organist during a reception following the 10:15 a.m. worship service Sunday.

•The Just Peace organization of University of Saint Francis will join the Peace and Justice Commission of Fort Wayne and Allen County, Plymouth Congregational Church Peace and Justice Committee and Beacon Heights Church of the Brethren in an inter-faith multicultural event at 11:30 a.m. today on the plaza at the Allen County Public Library, 900 Webster St. The event is in observance of the International Day of Peace.

St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 2421 S. Hanna St., will have its Women’s Day celebration with speaker Sarah Phillips at 10:15 a.m. Sunday.

Wesley United Methodist Church at Center Street in Bryan, Ohio, will host the Bryan Area Christian Prayer Breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Robert Rogers will conduct the program and music. Tickets are a $7 donation and are available by calling 419-636-7028.

Plymouth Congregational Church, First Presbyterian Church and Associated Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County will host the “Creation Care Leadership Workshop” from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at Plymouth, 501 W.
