College football preview: Manchester at Franklin

Records: Manchester 0-2, Franklin 0-2

When: 1:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Faught Stadium, Franklin

Radio: 89.5 FM

Scouting report: The good news for the Spartans: They piled up nearly 400 yards of offense last week against Kalamazoo. The bad news: Kalamazoo won anyway, 31-21, scoring 24 straight points . Now the Spartans get Franklin, which has lost two games by a combined total of six points and is giving up 30.5 points and 409.5 yards per game. That might be good news again for a Manchester offense that’s averaging 314.5 yards behind quarterback Nick Williams (407 passing yards, 102 rushing).
