Syracuse shop raided in synthetic-pot probe

More than 100 packages of synthetic marijuana and records of transactions were seized Friday during the search of a Syracuse business, the Syracuse Police Department said.

The department said it served a search warrant on the What You Want store, 503 S. Huntington St., after an investigation with the Indiana State Police that took several months.

Undercover purchases of the product, also known as Spice or K2, were made, police said, and it was determined the substance being sold was illegal synthetic cannabinoids. Arrests are expected, police said.
