4 Fort Wayne high schools get bomb threat

A bomb scare Tuesday morning prompted searches and some evacuations Tuesday morning at Fort Wayne high schools.

“There was a bomb threat that referenced South Side, Wayne, North Side and Northrop,” according to an announcement from Fort Wayne Community Schools, posted on Facebook.

“School officials and police responded immediately to ensure student safety,” it said.

All of the schools later resumed their normal schedules.
