Science On a Sphere to open Oct. 5

FORT WAYNE – Science Central announced Tuesday that Science On a Sphere will open Oct. 5.

Free admission will be offered from 10 to 11 a.m. on opening day, the announcement said.

The permanent exhibit developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has been built in the unused portion of the building at 1950 N. Clinton St.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Oct. 5.

Regularly scheduled demonstrations of the new exhibit will take place daily, the announcement said.

Admission to the sphere will be included in the $8 daily admission fee to Science Central.
