Coats to discuss sanctions on Iran

Sen. Dan Coats, R-Ind., will talk about the effectiveness of sanctions against Iran at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Capitol Visitor Center.

The hour-long program is sponsored by the Bipartisan Policy Center, which will webcast the program live at bipartisanpolicy.org.

Coats, a former co-chairman of the center’s Iran Task Force, is a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee. He will be joined by Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee. The moderator is Susan Glasser, editor of Politico.
