Area meth suspect discovered in shed

A man found inside a shed at a Kosciusko County mobile home park was found to be possessing methamphetamine, the county sheriff’s department said Friday.

Michael Ryan Nelson, 26, of Warsaw, was also found with a moped that was later determined to be stolen, the sheriff’s department said.

He was preliminarily charged with theft and possession of methamphetamine near a public park/access area and was being held in the county jail in lieu of $2,000 bail, police said.

Sheriff’s department deputies responded to a suspicious-person call at Green Acres Mobile Home Park about 7 a.m. Friday and found Nelson inside a shed, the sheriff’s department said.
