Part of river trail closed this week

The Rivergreenway’s Maumee Pathway between Pemberton Drive and the North River Road Trailhead will be closed part of the day beginning Monday for resurfacing.

The gates on each end of the work area will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through Friday, when work is expected to be completed, according to the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department.

There is no detour for this section of trail.

The Maumee Pathway may be rough in some locations because of resurfacing, and the city urges caution for those using the trail today and Sunday.
